As a Texas A&M graduate of 2020 (Whoop!), my initial plans after graduation were adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. While searching for a suitable alternative to a career in hospitality, I was introduced to the fast-paced, ever-changing health insurance industry.
What began as a short-term solution to my joblessness, quickly became a career I found great passion and success in. The pandemic, of course, resulted in millions of corporate employees losing their jobs along with their benefits. This led to many opening their own businesses and/or becoming a 1099 contractor for their industry. **Enter: me!**
